COVID-19 New Policies & Procedures

Saint Luke’s Re-Opening Plan

We are so thrilled to be worshiping in person again, it has been a long time and we missed you! We want you to know the health and safety of our parishioners and employees continue to be our top priorities. As our building operations resume, we have included new policies and guidelines that follow CDC recommendations:

Ways we are working to keep you safe:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing procedures have been increased in frequency in all high-contact places including bathrooms, entrances and exits, door handles, and pews.

  • Hand sanitizer and face masks are available in the Narthex, parish and Christian Care offices.

  • All employees must wear a mask when walking throughout the building, follow social distancing guidelines and wash hands regularly.

  • Employees are required to stay home if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or feeling unwell.

  • A plastic barrier was installed in the parish office between visitors and employees.

  • Employees participate in COVID-19 safety and sanitation training.

What we ask of you:

  • Stay home if you are not feeling well or experiencing symptoms including but not limited to coughing, fever, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms; or if you have been in contact with someone who has been either diagnosed with COVID-19 or has been asked to self-quarantine by a public health official (whether or not you feel unwell or are experiencing symptoms).

  • Maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance from those not in your immediate household at all times

  • Wear a face mask when onsite

Please continue to join us for in-person worship every weekend or watch our online service on Facebook, YouTube, or our Website. Keep checking this page for ways that Saint Luke is connecting with you and the resources we have available.

According to the IDPH guidelines all regions in the state entered Phase 4 on June 26, 2020. This means Gatherings of 50 people or fewer are allowed, schools and childcare programs reopen with social distancing policies in place. Face coverings and social distancing are the norm.
