Pastor Terry McReynolds has served as the Senior Pastor of Saint Luke Church & School since June of 2003.

Pastor Terry McReynolds was born in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Andrews High School, Andrews, Texas in 1976. He attended Concordia College in Austin, Texas from 1976-78 and then transferred to Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois where he received his Bachelor’s degree in 1980 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in History. He then attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri and while there was sent to Zion Lutheran Church in Ashland, Wisconsin to serve his Vicarage. This was a very cold place for a guy from West Texas, but a place whose beauty still holds a special place in his heart. Pastor McReynolds received his Master of Divinity in May of 1985.

Pastor McReynolds first call was to Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Centralia, Illinois as Pastor of Discipleship and Youth from 1985-88. From 1988-2003, he served at Bethany Lutheran Church and School in Naperville, Illinois as Pastor (Congregational Care). At Bethany and with each congregations he has served, Pastor McReynolds has continued to learn that people are God’s most precious gift to His church and Pastor McReynolds considers it a privilege to baptize, commune, marry, bury and care for people in so many ways.

Pastor McReynolds has been married to his best friend and wife, Diane, since 1981. They have a wonderful son, Sean, who brings them a lot of joy. Pastor McReynolds loves to spend time with his family, do projects around the house, golf, travel, and read.
