The Red Letter Challenge is a 40-day encounter with the words and teachings of Jesus. In some Bibles the words of Jesus are printed in red. That’s why this is called the Red Letter Challenge. We’re looking at what Jesus actually said and seeing what it means to put His teachings into practice. Throughout these 40 days we’ll be challenged to grow more and more like Jesus.

For 40 days and 6 Sundays we’ll be looking at several topics that come from reading what Jesus said. Each of the Sundays during that time period we’ll be looking at the one specific item. Then there will be small groups throughout the week where you can unpack these teachings even more. Here’s a list:

• Sundays at 9:15 pm

• Mondays at 6:30 pm

• L.I.F.T. Every other Tuesday at 12 noon (offsite)

• Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

• Saturdays at 8:30 am (Offsite)

It is important to get a copy (1 per family) of the book and follow the daily devotional readings and challenges. Having the book and using it will enhance your 40 day experience and give the full picture of what the Red Letter Challenge is and what it means to be a follower of Jesus. (Copies of the book are available for $20 each in the Office. Or see Walt Schoenfuhs after church.)
